The Alchemy of Form + Flow

200hr YTT

 
 

Begins Friday February 16th and ends Sunday April 26th, 2023. Class will be held Fridays from 6p-9p, Saturdays 9a-6p, and Sundays 9a-3:30p. Each student will need to attend every weekend. Make-up time will be an additional cost and will be scheduled between the student, Rachel and Jason. The cost of tuition is $3000. Students will need to pay a $500 deposit upon signing up, with the remaining balance due by February 16th 2023. After receiving the deposit, you will receive a welcome email with the required and recommended books. The tuition includes SPACE School; The Alchemy of Form + Flow teacher training manual. There is no application process to enroll and this training is open to any human, all levels of ability and knowledge. Cancellations and refunds will be determined between student, Rachel and Jason based on circumstances. After completing the 10 weekends of SPACE School, the student will receive an RYS 200hr certificate and be able to apply for their 200hr, RYT Yoga Alliance instructor credentials.


Here are some topics you can expect to learn in our 200-hour yoga teacher training:


  • Yoga philosophy and history: Study the history and origins of yoga, including its philosophical underpinnings, key texts, and the evolution of yoga through time.


  • Anatomy and physiology: Learn about the human body, its various systems, and how they relate to yoga postures and breathwork. This will include an in-depth study of the musculoskeletal, respiratory, nervous, and digestive systems.


  • Subtle body: Learn about the seven chakras that correspond to different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual selves, the three main nadis, or energy channels, prana, or the vital life-force energy that powers and fuels both our physical and subtle bodies.


  • Asana (yoga postures): Learn how to practice and teach foundational yoga postures, including their alignment, modifications, and variations.


  • Pranayama (breathwork): Learn various breathing techniques, including how to teach and practice them safely and effectively.


  • Meditation and mindfulness: Explore the practices of meditation and mindfulness, including their benefits, different techniques, and how to integrate them into your classes.


  • Teaching methodology: Learn how to plan and sequence a yoga class, how to teach and adjust students safely and effectively, and how to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.


  • Ethics and professionalism: Explore the ethical principles that guide the practice and teaching of yoga, including boundaries, confidentiality, and professional conduct.


  • Business skills: Learn practical skills for building a successful yoga business, including marketing, and networking.
