Who it is for
SPACE School is open to all experience levels. Whether you want to learn how to teach, understand yoga more fully, or deepen your personal practice, the training is designed to meet you where you are.
Certificate
Students who complete the program receive a 200-hour certificate from SPACE School.
Registration path
The training supports students who want to pursue 200-hour RYT registration through Yoga Alliance after completion.
Approach
The teaching style balances clear structure, intuitive movement, supportive mentorship, and space to develop your own voice.
Schedule
The current training window is listed as January 8-May 14, 2027, with each weekend structured around Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday afternoon sessions.
Attendance is expected for each training weekend. If you need to miss part of the program, make-up sessions may be arranged with Rachel for an additional cost.

The training moves through foundational study, subtle body work, teaching skills, and the practical realities of building a sustainable path in yoga.
Study yoga's origins, philosophical foundations, key texts, and the way the practice has evolved over time.
Learn how the body functions in movement and breath, with specific study of major body systems.
Explore the energetic systems of yoga, including the seven chakras, the three primary nadis, and prana as vital life-force energy.
Build a deeper understanding of foundational postures, including alignment, modifications, and variations.
Learn traditional breathing techniques and how to guide students safely through breath-centered practices.
Explore meditation practices, their benefits, and ways to weave mindfulness into personal practice and teaching.
Develop the tools to lead class with confidence, clarity, and care.
Study the principles that support responsible teaching, including boundaries, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
Learn practical tools for building a sustainable teaching path, from marketing basics to networking within the yoga community.

There is no formal application process. The training is open to all experience levels, whether you are brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years.
Cancellations and refunds are handled between the student and Rachel based on individual circumstances.
Upon successful completion, students receive a 200-hour certificate from SPACE School and can pursue 200-hour RYT registration through Yoga Alliance.
